Family - Juvenile
The Family – Juvenile Division is housed at the Lincoln Hall of Justice. The division handles such matters as:
• Adoption
• Child abuse and neglect
• Guardianship
• Juvenile delinquency
Referees conduct hearings on the informal dockets, which include traffic and ordinance violations, and consent matters.
The Interim Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Division is the Hon. Sheila Ann Gibson.
Pursuant to Docket Directive 2020 – 07, and in compliance with MCR 3.925(A), access to view a Zoom video recording of a juvenile proceeding may be obtained by contacting Case Processing/Court Reporting Services.
