Juvenile Drug Treatment Court - STAND

What is STAND?
STAND is a highly structured, specialty court program designed to provide an alternative to the traditional criminal justice system through the use of comprehensive supervision and treatment services.
The program has been designed with four phases in mind. During each phase, the youth will be responsible for completing specific tasks. The youth’s transition to each phase is based upon his/her successful completion of those tasks as well as their continued sobriety.
On average, a youth can complete the program in nine months, but this is dependent upon the youth and their commitment to the program.
Our Mission
The mission of Wayne County Third Judicial Circuit Juvenile Drug Court, Supervised Treatment for Alcohol and Narcotic Dependency (STAND) is to provide an integrated system of treatment for juveniles and their families within a drug court setting. Our team works to eliminate a juvenile’s substance use and delinquent behavior by utilizing jurisprudence, treatment and community support services to improve the lives of our youth.
